Suffering, conflict, and pain are universal. We are all guaranteed to experience hardship. Yet, some people handle difficulties far better than others.
What makes the difference?
Simply this: how well equipped we are according to God’s wisdom and truth as revealed in His written Word.
What is the source of your hope?
Undoubtedly, you have conflict and struggles; but how equipped are you for handling these challenges? How equipped are those you love?
There are two kinds of hope in this world: false hope and God’s hope. Anything outside of God and His Word is hopeless. True hope is found in God alone.
Furthermore, God’s Word is limitless in hope; therefore, genuine and lasting change is always possible in even the most difficult and painful of circumstances.
Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. [Romans 15:4]
